Lesson

Lesson is an AI-powered educational software designed to connect teachers, students and parents. It helps teachers manage learning activities, gives students access to personalised practice, and helps parents understand and support their children's progress.

Challenge

Making the right practice available.

Teachers spend considerable time preparing exercises, assigning work, reviewing results and tracking individual progress. Parents want to help their children practise but may not know which exercises to choose or how to explain them. Students need practice that matches their current level and learning needs. The challenge was to make relevant practice easier to provide, access and understand.

Solution

Connecting classroom and home learning.

Lesson brings teacher workflows, student practice and parental support into one software. Teachers can create task sets, assign exercises, review evaluated results and monitor progress. Students can request practice, work through exercises and receive feedback in a conversational experience. AI supports personalised practice while reducing some of the repetitive work involved in preparing and reviewing exercises.

Outcome

Learning beyond the classroom.

Lesson brings different learning activities and user needs into one connected experience, with a mobile-first approach across teacher, student and parent workflows. The project allowed me to explore complex educational workflows and translate AI capabilities into practical interactions. Its central idea is simple: students should be able to continue practising when they need it, not only during a lesson.

Practice that fits the learner.

Challenge

Helping parents choose what comes next.

Children need different kinds of practice at different stages. Parents may recognise when their child is struggling, but choosing an appropriate exercise or explaining a difficult concept isn't always easy. Lesson explores how personalised practice can make it easier for children to continue learning and for parents to understand where support is needed.

Solution

Independent practice, visible progress.

Students can request exercises through a conversation, work through them and receive feedback. Parents can see what their child has practised and where they encountered difficulty, helping them offer support without having to prepare the exercises themselves.

Outcome

Supporting learning at home.

Lesson explores a way for children to continue practising independently while giving parents a clearer view of their progress. The aim is to make home practice more relevant for the child and easier for the parent to support — extending learning beyond the classroom without asking parents to become teachers.
